The Grand Forks Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization, comprised
of businesses, professionals, farmers, retirees who all share the goal of
promoting good government at all levels, as well promoting the commercial,
industrial, social and civic interests of the community.
Established in 1899, the Grand Forks Chamber of Commerce is always working
to improve the whole community - a healthy community in which to do business
and raise our familes.
An action orientated organization that sells our community, its achievements,
its potential and its values.
An organized voice, monitoring legislation, at all levels, to ensure taxation
and legislative policies, which promote a health business community.
As front door to Grand Forks, the Chamber processes over 10,000 inquires
yearly from tourists, visitors and businesses - all wanting to know what
our community has to offer.
Funded primarily by the investments of its members, the Grand Forks Chamber
of Commerce is a proactive organization, operating in the fields of small
business, agriculture, forestry, tourism, mining, economic development,
education, government airs and taxation, transportation, community development
and communications.
The Chamber office is located at 1647 Central Ave. (Highway #3) in the Community Futures Boundary building. The
Chamber manages and operates the Grand Forks Visitor Information Centre
at 525 Central Avenue.
