Cascade Falls
Located 3Km south of Christina Lake on Hwy 395. Explore trails,
a trestle & tunnel and see the spectacular gorge, or simply
witness the runoff from the bridge on Hwy 395.
Granby & Kettle Rivers
Recreational activites abound on our gentle flowing rivers...try
tubing with the locals, bring your canoe or kayak, take a dip or
try one of our many fishing spots. Fishing guides are available
at the Grand Forks Visitor Centre.

Sandy beach on Kettle River, playground, campground, spacious lawns
with shade,national standard BMX track and a paved section of the

North Fork Scenic Tour
This picturesque 35 km circle tour follows Granby River along the
historical North Fork valley, home to early settlers, miners, and
railroaders. Take a camera to capture gorgeous scenery, wildlife
and items of local history, including our famous recyclable slag
piles. - by car or bike.

Phoenix Forest & History Tour

Self guided 22 km driving tour begins about 19.5 km west of Grand
Forks at junction of Phoenix Road & Hwy. 3, following the prospectors
footsteps and explores the areas rich history and resources. About
two hours over the mountain into Greenwood but try to allow more

Phoenix Forest Trails
A network of trails in the historical Phoenix Mine area that include
railgrades, old roads and trails, some 4x4, others just hiking, marked
with signs each km. and at each major intersection. Can connect to

Phoenix Ski Hill
30 km west of Grand Forks

Located in the old Phoenix Mine area, this family oriented hill offers
11 runs (800 vertical ft.) with T-bar, rope tow and night skiing.
Day chalet, licensed cafeteria, rental shop, ski school. X-country

Thimble Mountain Trails

The trail system consists of 18 km of well maintained single track
trails and 8 km of gravel road through forested land, with variety
of difficulty. The main access is 23 km west of Grand Forks. Ph:

Trans Canada Trail
The trail traverses the Boundary, passing right through Grand Forks,
with a new paved section thru City Park, suitable for wheelchairs.
